100 applicants for the 2nd mentoring cycle of the PROSPECT learning programme

The engagement campaign for the second edition of the PROSPECT learning programme attracted around 100 cities, regions and energy agencies from over 40 countries, with Greece (24 applicants), Bulgaria (22 applicants) and Portugal (11 applicants) showing great interest

The second cycle of the learning programme takes place in January 2019. Mentors and mentees will exchange experience on innovative financing schemes during peer mentoring meetings (one to one meetings) or study visits (one mentor city hosting seven mentees). There will be three online and one physical meeting where concrete guidance for developing financing schemes will be provided.

This learning process will empower participants to make use of best practices in developing financing for sustainable plans and actions, which have been implemented successfully in other cities and regions in the European Union.

To read more about the learning activities and expertise areas of the mentors, please have a look at the Mentors' Corner. You can read about the two Greek municipalities visiting their mentor in Linz (Austria) and the Portuguese municipality Loures visiting Maribor in Slovenia to learn about EPC for public lighting or about the two-day learning activity in Slovenia for participant-cities Torres Verdas and Mogadouro (Portugal) and Mizil (Romania).
