Abbie Arcena

Abbie is a Projects and Acquisition Officer at IHS. She provides support in project management, specifically in acquisition-related activities, project tracking, database management, documentation, and preparing the request for proposal/expression of interest.

She first joined IHS as an intern in 2019. Abbie completed her Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Management at Wageningen University and Research. She worked as a development specialist with a particular focus on socio-economic development, sustainable development goals, and land use and physical planning in the Philippines. Also, she had training and involvement in planning and coordinating programs and projects with multiple stakeholders. Her other areas of interest include policy analysis, investment programming, climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable development.
