Sharon Welsh is one of the two information managers who together run the IHS library. She is responsible for the upkeep of the collection of the IHS library and all content provisions required to support course development and implementation. She advises course coordinators on the availability of relevant publications, sources and references that may interest their courses and thematic interests. She manages the IHS library database and is one of the coordinators of the virtual learning environment Canvas. Her function also includes the editing of English publications, books and brochures produced by IHS. Ms Welsh is also involved in developing and transforming the IHS library into a dynamic multifunctional information knowledge centre for the institute.
